INTRODUCTION

When somebody talks about Australia, the first thing it comes up to our mind, perhaps the only one, is kangaroo, the Australia’s most successful andn varied marsupial. In Europe we’ve got a sort of idea of Australians like “Crocodile Dundee” types who live out in the bush – as they call it- and hunt kangaroos, and kill snakes with their bare hands.

Do you know what’s the capital of Australia? You don’t probably know that Australia is the driest continent in the world. Did you know that it’s getting wetter? The Australians blame the Poms for bringing their weather with them! But who are the Poms? The British.

Enter this webquest and you will learn a lot of interesting things about this amazing country.
